Furude Rika is the young head of the Furude House, one of the three "ruling" families in rural Hinamizawa, Japan. She's a bright and mature little girl with an adorable vocabulary (nano desu~! Nipa~h!) and is usually quiet, save a few insightful comments she may make from time to time. As the rumored incarnate of Frederic Bernkastel Oyashiro-sama, the village deity, Rika-chama receives a lot of respect despite her age. She is also cursed to die on June 19th, 1983, without fail and to then be brought back in time and "reborn" thanks to the "real" Oyashiro-sama, Furude Hanyuu.
